feeling bleah

Icky outside. Staying in the last couple of days and eating ding dongs and ben and jerry's and watching TV. I have to order fresh direct. Running low on chocolate mint chip. Screening phone calls. Mom left a bunch of messages asking why I haven't wished her a happy new year. VD is going crazy. Wants to hop the bars. i tell her I'm busy. Not in the mood to talk.

Princess--

A couple of things.

1) Your pops - on the one hand, he is concerned about you. But on the other, he's pissed that he's worked his ass off to get where he is and you turn 22 and inherit more money than he earned in 10 years. Sucks.

The main point is, don't fuck it up. Get a financial advisor. Goldman Sachs Private Bank, baby. Who manages your trust fund? Don't buy an apartment for the same price that could buy you places in the City, the Hamptons and Palm Beach. You're not a retard and you're not Paris. Be smart.

2) No one feels bad for you and you shouldn't feel bad for yourself. Take a xanax or do a bump and get over it. It's just your parents.

No matter how hard I try not to, everytime you mention VD I think "gonorrhea" or sometimes, "HPV." Because that's what kind of dinosaur I am, from the time before they thought to change it to STD's or STI's.

I guess it makes your blog more interesting.

Prada Princess, you lack focus. Your blog lacks editorial focus, and your life lacks a sense of purpose. I have a suggestion that would address both problems: get a job that would allow you to work on your writing skills. My guess is that your grandmother's reason for endowing a trust for your benefit had nothing to do with you never working. Having money to fall back on means that you get to choose a job that appeals to you without regard to the amount it pays. What a luxury! That's BETTER than Prada -- and I love Prada. A job would give some structure to your days. A job -- even one that turns out not to be a great job for you -- will help you decide where and how you fit into the world. Once you figure that out, then maybe you'll also figure out what the Prada Princess blog is supposed to be about.
